On March 21, the 12th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology And Equipment and offshore oil and pipeline Explosion-proof Electrical Exhibition (CIPPE) concluded in Beijing.

As the world's largest petroleum and petrochemical professional exhibition, this exhibition attracted the participation of more than 1500 enterprises from 62 countries and regions. However, for a long time, China's petroleum equipment industry also has many problems, such as low technical content and high product repetition rate. Facing the competition from domestic and international enterprises, those enterprises that remain in the design and manufacture of conventional petroleum equipment are doomed to be eliminated by the market. Moreover, high-tech equipment products are also the objective needs of petroleum enterprises to cope with the increasingly complex geological and stratigraphic changes. In this exhibition, high-end equipment became the most popular "sweet pastry".

In baoji petroleum steel tube exhibition area, HO70 continuous speed tube string has attracted a lot of visitors' interest. The single length of this product is thousands of meters, which has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, excellent corrosion resistance, high operating efficiency, safety and reliability. So far, more than 40 pan speed tubing strings have been successfully applied to the production site of oil field, with a total length of more than 130,000 meters. With the rapid development of China's natural gas industry, product advantages will continue to appear.

In the exhibition area of the China National Institute of Petroleum Drilling Engineering Technology, the physical exhibition of the top-driven drilling device aroused the interest of visitors: "To what extent is this device applicable? What unique techniques are used?"

Exhibition staff one by one patiently answer. The original top drive drilling device is a new type of oil drilling equipment which is used to replace the rotary table to provide rotary power. It is known as one of the three revolutionary technological achievements of modern drilling equipment. The top drive produced by China Petroleum Drilling Institute is a highly integrated technology product with integrated electromechanical and hydraulic information. What's more, the equipment developed by the drilling institute for unconventional oil and gas extraction has become a hot topic for people to understand.

At the exhibition, petrochina also held a new product release conference, focusing on 12 products. The common feature of these products is that "high-end" represents the most advanced technology level in the industry.

Towards the sea

Enter E1 hall, a blue and white on the right side of the circular exhibition area is quite striking, into which as if wandering in the ocean. This is the Cnooc exhibition area. The successful completion of the "Offshore Daqing" in 2011 marked that China's offshore oil development has entered a new period. The future of oil exploration and development will depend more and more on the blue of the sea, this point was revealed at the exhibition.

In the Exhibition area of Baoji Petroleum Company, crowds gathered in front of a model of a 300-foot jack-up offshore drilling platform. People came to see the true face of the platform, which is designed by China to operate in the deepest water depth and adapt to the widest range of operating conditions. Models of drilling ships on display at booths such as Liaohe Equipment Group were also popular. In this exhibition, as long as there is ocean-related equipment and introduction, the audience will flock to see.

More than a third of global oil and gas production now comes from the ocean, and that figure is expected to rise further by 2015. China's offshore oil and gas output in 2010 was 54 million tons of oil equivalent. The depletion of onshore oil and the increasing difficulty of exploration have prompted many companies to seek other exports.

At the exhibition, not only traditional offshore oil equipment companies such as CNOOC and China Shipbuilding Industry showed their current technical level and scale to the industry through models, videos, brochures and other means, but also many equipment companies with onshore oil equipment as their core business presented their newly developed offshore supporting devices. Gemstone Machinery exhibited key equipment such as winch for 9000m offshore platform, liaohe Equipment exhibited self-developed devices such as pile leg of CP-300 jackup drilling platform, and anti-corrosion company of pipeline Bureau exhibited concrete counterweight coating system of Marine anti-corrosion pipeline, etc. Two of the 12 new products released by petrochina are also related to offshore exploration and development.

"Now that the land rig market is nearing saturation and most of it has shifted to the repair and maintenance phase, sticking to the land market is very passive for us, who only entered the oil equipment industry in 2005.
